Timna Park is located at about 25 km from Eilat. It is a fantastic archeological site, home of the world's earliest copper mine and of some intricate geological formations, such as the Natural Arch, the Mushroom, and Solomon's Pillar.

How to get to Timna Park from Eilat: The route from Eilat to timna park with transportation is very simple. You can take the following busses (390, 391, 444, 991) from the Eilat main bus station to Elifaz/Timna Park station. The ride takes around 20 minutes and costs 14 shekels (4 euros) one way. You can buy the ticket on the bus.
Timna Nature Reserve
Go to Timna by bus. Take bus 'Take bus 'א22' to get straight to Timna Park Visitors Center. Its the cheapest way. This bus can take you back only once around 3:30pm. Walk from Visitors Center to Timna Lake is around 3hours. Remember to take enough of water. Visited January 2023.
